ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The DS Automobiles Italian Open is the national open golf championship of Italy, and it was established in 1923. After a hiatus between 1960 and 1971, the event has been held every year since the inception of the DP World Tour.

It is one of the DP World Tour's most historic events, and it has also proven among the most popular with spectators in recent years.

Nicolai Højgaard is the defending champion after he saw off Tommy Fleetwood and Adrian Meronk by a single shot in 2021. This year we will see some of the best golfers in the world including home favourites such as Eduardo Molinari, Renato Paratore, Francesco Molinari and Guido Migliozzi battle it out on the 2023 Ryder Cup course.
